Sunday, January 20, 2008: I have been gone from Argentina for about 5 weeks. In that time, I have come to appreciate it more. There are many places to go. Patagonia, Bariloche, Mar del Plata, San Bernardo. These are some of the attractions the country holds.

January 29, 1987: Another anniversary of the day I told Luis I loved him. He didn't want me to say it. I could see that very clearly by looking at him, but I had to. If I hadn't gone up to him that hot summer afternoon after midday Mass, I would have exploded. Now, 3 years later, I am proud of what I did. Luis was the first adult love of my life.

January 27, 1987: I hate to be repeating myself, but I want to know what will happen to my Tia and me. I am tired of my life being like this, of my Tia suffering at her age. She is a good woman and this shouldn't be happening. Very unfair.

January 1, 2008: The aristocratic walks that my dog Chiquito and I used to take with my dog Chiquito up to 2 weeks ago showed me a wonderful side of the Northern suburb of Olivos. That is where the Presidential quinta is--the great big, sprawling get away from it all residence. Beautiful homes in many architectural styles, some with swimming pools out in the back of the mansions.
